Bahraini photographer Isa Ebrahim has taken first place in the Xposure International Photography Award 2025, part of the 9th edition of the Xposure International Photography Festival held in Sharjah. The award ceremony, held on Monday, was attended by Tariq Saeed Allay, Director General of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, and Alya Al-Suwaidi, Director of the Sharjah Media Bureau. The winning photo was selected from over 10,000 entries from 162 countries in the sports category. It features the feet of a young boy playing with a makeshift football made from fabric and plastic bags on a dirt field in the Dassanech tribe in Ethiopia’s Lower Omo Valley. A talented Bahraini photographer has made his mark on the international stage by winning first place at the Xposure International Photography Award 2025.
