The Bahrain Animal Production Show (Mara’ee 2023) has just wrapped up, and it was a big success! With the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the event received high praise from Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, the Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture.
The show aligned with the government’s efforts to boost food security, and Minister Al Mubarak gave a shout-out to His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for his support. Mara’ee 2023 showcased the kingdom’s commitment to food security, featuring rare animal breeds and even fish farming experiments.
Thousands of students joined in the fun, and the Ministry plans to use the show’s positive outcomes to increase food production. Workshops for veterinarians and agricultural engineers were also held, adding to the event’s educational value. Overall, it was a fantastic showcase of Bahrain’s achievements in the animal production and agriculture sectors.
