Last night French President Emmanuel Macron visited the legendary Lebanese singer Fayrouz at her home in Lebanon for dinner, and today the photos shared by Fairouz are being widely circulated online!
President Macron also awarded the 84-year-old influential Arab superstar the Legion of Honour, the highest order of honor in France of merit for military and civil work.
The images won the hearts of many who rarely get a glimpse of the singer’s life
Fayrouz hasn’t performed in over a decade and her online presence was very much enjoyed by thousands all over the world.
In the photos where both Macron and Fayrouz are captured in her humble living room, shows the 1980 painting Feiruz by artist Cici Tommaseu Sursock among other cultural paintings.
