It’s the first Arab mission to make it to Mars
In July of last year, the UAE launched the Hope probe – the first ever Arab interplanetary exploration! The journey took around 7 months, but it’s finally about to reach Mars’ orbit!
& The UAE is in a celebratory mood
All of the country’s national landmarks have been lit up in red to celebrate their arrival on the red planet!
The probe is expected to enter Mars’ Orbit on Tuesday the 9th of February, 7:452 UAE time/ 6:42 Bahrain time – and the event will be covered live (Click HERE for the link or watch the coverage on Bahrain TV).
