Twitter Pauses Its Paid Verification Plan After Fake Accounts Impersonating Public Figures Go Viral

Another day, another tweet!

Twitter or let’s be clear, Elon Musk’s Twitter rolled out a paid subscription for verified accounts on the platform and as no one, let alone Elon Musk would have imagined, imposters came into action and created fake accounts posing to be famous public figures and companies! Twitter has now paused the paid subscription service and is working towards a smoother process to carry out the step!
